welcome
You are not alone in wondering why you do what you do….
This is a place to slow down, reflect, and begin to understand yourself more deeply—with curiosity, care and compassion.
People come to therapy for many reasons — feeling stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply curious about why certain patterns keep repeating. Often, there’s a sense that something deeper is going on, even if it’s hard to put into words.
In my work with individuals, we slow things down and gently explore emotional responses, defenses, and recurring themes. Together, we look at how past experiences continue to shape how you relate, cope, and seek safety in the present. I pay close attention to what I often think of as ”unconscious whispers“ — the subtle emotional cues, patterns, and reactions that point to deeper meaning, unmet needs, and old wounds.
In my work with couples, therapy focuses on understanding the cycles that leave partners feeling stuck, distant, or misunderstood. Conflict is rarely just about the surface issue. More often, it reflects underlying fears, attachment needs, and protective responses that once made sense. By slowing down these moments and listening beyond words, couples can begin to communicate more openly, respond with greater compassion, and feel closer again.
My approach is intuitive, psychodynamic, and collaborative. I offer a thoughtful, steady presence and work alongside you to make sense of your emotional landscape, deepen self-understanding, and support more authentic connection — both with yourself and with others.
I integrate a range of theories and modalities, including psychodynamic and attachment-based approaches, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma-informed practices, CBT, DBT, and Ego Psychology. I also have additional training in addictions counselling and narcissistic abuse treatment.
The fact that you’re here matters. Therapy doesn’t require certainty or readiness — only a willingness to be curious about what’s happening beneath the surface.

What is difference between Psychotherapy and Counselling?
Counselling ususally focuses on specific issues and goals, offering short-term support and guidance. We focus on coping strategies, and behavioural changes.
Psychotherapy is a deeper therapy that explores why we do what we do, patterns, emotional triggers, past expereinces and the “subconscious whispers” that help explain our behaviours and emotions. It is long-term support that works to create lasting change. That said, the two often overlap—and we’ll work in the way that’s most helpful for you.
How often do people come to Therapy?
Beginning with weekly sessions for about four weeks is an effective way to establish a strong therapeutic foundation and make meaningful progress together. We can always adjust the frequency of our sessions as we move forward.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! I can offer you a free 20-minute consultation that we can arrange at a time that works best for you. During our chat, we will dive into your unique therapy goals, discuss how often we might meet, go over the pricing, and answer any questions or concerns you might have as we work together to create a personalized plan just for you.
Do you offer in-person sessions?
I work exclusively online (with only a few exceptions). All sessions are virtual, which means you can join from the comfort of your own space—sweatpants and tea optional, but encouraged.
What if I’ve never been to Therapy before?
That’s completely okay. Therapy is a journey, not a test—and baby steps are often the best way to begin. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, at your own pace
my style
Together, we will listen for what’s underneath—gently, curiously, and with care.
I believe that healing happens in relationship—especially in the relationship between therapist and client. This connection becomes a mirror, a space of safety, and a place to try new ways of being. Through this relationship, we can explore how old emotional patterns, often rooted in childhood, culture, and self-protection, are shaping your present life.
I see therapy as a collaborative and intuitive process. You’re the expert on your experience, and I bring attuned presence, deep listening, and the capacity to notice what’s happening beneath the surface. I also welcome the integration of other therapies or professionals in your care—whether that’s art therapy, somatic work, or something else you find meaningful.
My work dives deep. I pay close attention to the parts of you that are visible—and the ones that are harder to reach. Together, we’ll explore your emotional world, your unconscious patterns, your ability to regulate, and the ways you respond to both connection and stress. I hold space for complexity while offering grounded feedback and honest reflection. My style leans towards the Humanistic approach as a therapist. You can expect transparency, creative flexibility, and a shared commitment to your growth.
I also hold a deep commitment to mental health—both my own, and the wellbeing of others. I believe we’ve all encountered experiences that shape our emotional lives, and many of us carry invisible wounds that deserve understanding and care. The more we learn about ourselves, the more empowered we become. Mental health is a cornerstone of human development, self-awareness, and joy.
Thankfully, we’re living in a time where seeking support is becoming less stigmatized. COVID-19 helped bring the importance of mental health to the surface, and I’m proud to be part of the movement that normalizes emotional healing, therapy, and the pursuit of inner wellbeing.
Insight is powerful. When we understand why we do what we do, we begin to feel more choice, more clarity, and more freedom. That’s where lasting change begins.
